82JIGU

82JIGU is everyday life in Korea, made for people who live here and do not read Korean yet.

ONE MAP, IN YOUR LANGUAGE
The places that decide your week — the immigration office, the community service centre, a hospital, a pharmacy, a bank, a phone shop — are on one map. Pick a kind of place from a row of icons and it appears around you, nearest first. No Korean search terms needed.
• Immigration offices, community service centres
• Hospitals and pharmacies
• Banks, phone shops, real estate agents
• Convenience stores, daily goods, supermarkets, department stores
• Places of worship
• Restaurants in 12 kinds, including halal and vegetarian
• Distance and walking time from where you stand

REVIEWS FROM PEOPLE WHO WENT
A place being open is not the same as a place being usable. Reviews answer what a map cannot: whether the counter has an English form, whether they took your ARC without a fuss, when the queue starts. Each place gets a grade from these answers, so you can see at a glance where foreigners are welcome.

TODAY
Open the Today tab for today's weather and air quality, one Korean phrase a day with a quick quiz, practical life tips with links to official government sources, and festivals near you this weekend.

SAY IT IN KOREAN
Every kind of place has phrases you will actually need. Listen to them, or show a big-text card to the staff — they tap their answer, and you read it in your language.

JJOKJI — NOTES BETWEEN MEMBERS
Send a note to someone you met through a review or a profile. Nothing reaches you until you accept. Reply, react, share photos, search your chats, and block or report anyone at any time.

PROFILES AND LEVELS
Add up to 10 photos and a short intro; other members read it in their own language. Your level grows as you use the app.

WORKS BEFORE YOU SIGN IN
The map, reviews and the Today tab open without an account. Sign in with Kakao or Google when you want to write a review or send a note.

SEVEN LANGUAGES
English, Korean, Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Russian and Japanese — the menus, the categories and members' writing.

YOUR LOCATION, ONLY WHILE YOU LOOK
82JIGU reads your location while the app is open, to put the map where you are. It is not tracked in the background.

WHERE THE INFORMATION COMES FROM
- Place names, addresses, phone numbers and coordinates: Kakao Local API, Kakao Corp. - https://developers.kakao.com/product/map
- Weather and air quality: Korea Meteorological Administration and AirKorea open data
- Festivals: Korea Tourism Organization open data
- Life tips: written by 82JIGU from official government pages, each linked in the app

82JIGU adds nothing of its own to the place records. It shows only where a place is. It does not publish opening hours, fees, required documents or procedures for any public office.

OFFICIAL SOURCES FOR PUBLIC OFFICES
For what a public office does and the rules it follows, go to the authority itself:
- Immigration and visas - Hi Korea, https://www.hikorea.go.kr
- District and community service centres - Government24, https://www.gov.kr
- Living in Korea - Danuri, https://www.liveinkorea.kr

NOT A GOVERNMENT SERVICE
82JIGU is an independent app made by Chilloen Inc. It is not a government agency, is not affiliated with or endorsed by any government agency, and does not process applications or handle paperwork for anyone. Locations, addresses and phone numbers come from the Kakao Local API listed above and can change - confirm anything official with the authority itself.
