Overview

Features & Capabilities

Chickpick is a puzzle game where you clear a layered board by collecting tiles into a holder. Each tile has a picture on it, and they are arranged in multiple layers on the field. Your goal is to tap tiles and send them down to the holder at the bottom. The holder automatically sorts incoming tiles and places identical ones next to each other. When three identical tiles are side by side in the holder, they merge into one and disappear, scoring points and freeing up space.
The game features multiple difficulty levels to match your skill. On easier levels, the board has fewer layers and simpler tile arrangements. On harder levels, more layers appear, tiles are stacked deeper, and you must plan further ahead to avoid filling the holder. This makes Chickpick accessible to beginners while offering a real challenge for experienced players.
The game ends when the holder runs out of space. You must manage the holder carefully, choosing which tiles to collect and when. Sometimes you need to clear a tile to make room for others, and other times you must wait and plan ahead.
Each merge increases a multiplier for a short time. If you perform another merge before the timer runs out, the multiplier grows even more. If the timer expires without a merge, the multiplier drops back to x1. This creates a risk-reward system where you must balance speed with careful planning. Quick consecutive merges can lead to huge scores, but rushing can clutter your holder and end the game.
Below the board, your hen walks along a dirt path and stops at the spot that matches your current multiplier level. As the multiplier grows, the hen moves further along the path. This gives you a clear visual cue of your current combo status without looking at numbers.
The visual style is bright and colorful, with distinct pictures on each tile. The holder is clearly visible below the board, and the sorting animation is smooth and satisfying. The hen is drawn in a cute cartoon style with a bright red comb, adding personality to the experience.
Chickpick is perfect for short sessions or longer play. There is no timer on individual moves, so you can think about each choice, but the multiplier timer pushes you to act quickly when chasing high scores. The game tracks your high score locally. Tap the tiles, fill the holder, trigger the merges, and push your hen further down the path.
