Unlike traditional puzzle apps where moves are simply marked right or wrong, Chess Pro Trainer features an advanced alternate acceptable move system. In many positions, users can earn credit for finding Valid, Equal, or even Better moves compared to the move played in the actual game. The app includes the following core training modules:

The core of the app. Each position is divided into two phases:
Phase 1 ("Pre-Tactic") — Answer Yes/No to the question: "Is there a tactical sequence here?" while the game progresses automatically.
Phase 2 ("Tactic") — Solve the position by making the correct moves just like a traditional puzzle.
Includes an advanced analysis board powered by the Stockfish chess engine to explore positions and variations.

2. Genius Training
Focuses on aggressive, high-level play involving sacrifices. Develop your attacking instincts and calculation.

3. Checks Training
Master the ability to identify all possible checks — a fundamental skill that is often overlooked but critical for strong play.

4. Coordinated Squares Training
Learn to recognize key "action squares" — squares attacked by multiple pieces — which are often the foundation of powerful tactics. The closer they are to your opponent's king, the more important they become.

5. Unprotected Pieces Training
Train your ability to identify vulnerable pieces using a unique and deeper definition of what "unprotected" truly means.
