Zed Checkers

Zed Checkers is a checkers board game with three ways to play.

GAME MODES

Single Player puts you against an AI opponent at Easy, Medium, or Hard difficulty. Local 2-Player lets two people play pass-and-play on the same device. Online Multiplayer lets you create a room, share a 6-character code, and challenge anyone anywhere in real time.

RULES

Zed Checkers follows international checkers rules on an 8x8 board. Kings are flying kings, meaning they slide any distance diagonally and can land on any empty square beyond a captured piece. Captures can chain across multiple pieces in a single turn, and you are free to choose any available capture path. Captures are mandatory, so if a capture is available, non-capture moves are blocked. Men that reach the back rank promote to kings and can continue capturing in the same turn.

FEATURES

Pieces animate smoothly with slide and fade effects. Winning triggers a full confetti celebration screen. Your stats are tracked automatically after every game, including wins, losses, win rate, current streak and best streak. You can replay your last move after each game, and sound effects and music can be toggled on or off in settings.
