Each of your actions is accompanied by a paragraph from the storybook that describes your discoveries, consequences, and available choices. There are no fixed win or lose conditions—you play to explore, discover, and shape your own story.

The Companion App makes each session smoother and more immersive, allowing you to focus on the unfolding narrative without pausing to read aloud. Every paragraph from the original storybooks has been faithfully recorded to capture the tension, dread, and wonder of the unfolding narrative. Simply enter the paragraph number to play the correct recording without interrupting the flow of your game. Additional features of the app include adjustable playback speed and an offline mode—download scenarios in advance to use the app without an internet connection.
