Chakkyo - Auto-Answer Calls

■ Main Features

【1. Smart Automatic Answering】
It automatically answers calls only from pre-approved contacts after a set number of seconds.

・Numbers registered in your contacts (default ON)

・Specified number list (numbers you add yourself, default ON)

・Unknown numbers / Blocked numbers / International numbers (default OFF. Turn ON only if needed)

If the caller is registered in your contacts, it will automatically answer even international numbers starting with "+81" (contact information takes priority).

[2. Automatic Mute Immediately After Answering a Call]
The microphone is automatically muted immediately after an automatic call is answered (default: ON).
This prevents accidents where background noise is suddenly heard by the caller.
Unmuting is done with a single tap. Of course, you can also turn the automatic mute function OFF.

[3. Detailed Safety Settings]
- Adjust the waiting time (seconds) before automatic call answering.
- Individually switch between caller types (Contact / Designated Number / Unknown / Anonymous / International).
- Do not automatically answer calls in silent/vibration mode (optional).

[4. History]
You can check the history of when and from which number you automatically answered a call.
The free version retains the last 7 days; Pro and above retain unlimited history.

■ Secure Design

Due to the nature of the app, which "automatically answers calls," multiple safety features are included to prevent accidental answering of unintended calls.

* Automatic call answering is OFF during international roaming (default).
This prevents high-cost incoming calls while roaming internationally.

* Automatic call answering of emergency calls (110/119, etc.) is disabled.
This prevents automatic answering of return calls from emergency services.

* International numbers are excluded by default.
Suspicious numbers originating from overseas are blocked by default. Only necessary numbers can be manually allowed.

* READ_CALL_LOG (permission to read call history) is not used.
A minimum permission design compliant with Google's latest policies. Only the app's own automatic call answering history is retained.

* Accessibility services are not used.

A secure implementation policy that prevents screen snooping.

■ Operation Notes (Important - Please Read)

Call permission is limited to incoming calls on "regular telephone lines (voice calls)."

The following apps' "calling function" will not work:

* Rakuten Link
* LINE Calls
* WhatsApp Calls
* Skype
* Microsoft Teams
* Google Meet
* Zoom / Zoom Phone
* Messenger (Facebook)
* Telegram Calls
* 050 plus
* SMARTalk
* Other IP phone / VoIP apps that use their own in-app calling features

These apps have their own calling systems, and therefore cannot automatically answer calls from external apps (including Call Permissions) without going through the OS's phone function.

This is not a bug in Call Permissions, but a limitation due to Android specifications. Please understand.

[Please also pay attention to power saving settings]
Some device manufacturers (especially Chinese manufacturers) may have their own power saving features that stop background apps when the screen is off. In that case, Call Permissions may not work when a call comes in, and automatic answering may not occur.
Please set Call Permissions to "Unrestricted" or "Always Allow" in your device's "Settings → Apps → Call Permissions → Battery" or "Power Saving Exceptions". A shortcut to the settings screen is also provided from the in-app help.

■ Verified Devices

The following devices have been tested for operation:
・Google Pixel 10
・Google Pixel 5
・ASUS ZenFone 6

While it can be used on other Android devices, behavior may differ depending on the device's power saving settings.

■ Required Permissions

The app requests only the minimum permissions necessary for its purpose.

・Role as a Phone App (ROLE_DIALER)

Required to control incoming calls. Please set this as your default phone app on Android.

・Reading Contacts

Required to determine whether to automatically answer calls only from contacts registered in your contacts.

・Microphone

Required for the automatic mute function immediately after answering a call.

・Notifications

Required to notify you that you have automatically answered a call.

Reading call history (READ_CALL_LOG) and accessibility services are not used.
