Visita Linea

Visita Linea is an Android app designed to record, view, and export technical visits along railway lines.

It allows you to create and manage lines, associate visits with a line, record in-cabin videos, conduct walking inspections, save mileage reference points, notes, photos, GPS tracks, and exportable data. The app is designed to work even in difficult conditions, such as tunnels or areas with weak GPS.

Practical use

During a cabin visit, the app records the video and connects to the GPS as soon as the page opens. If the GPS is reliable, it saves the points with the actual position and estimated distance. If the GPS deteriorates or is missing, it enters gallery mode and uses the phone's sensors to determine whether the vehicle is stationary or moving. The operator can save milestones or anchors on the video timeline to better reconstruct the visit, even in sections without signal.

During walking visits, the app records the GPS route and allows you to save notes, photos, and checkpoints, keeping everything connected to the selected route.
