Talking Reminder Alarm FLEX is a robust reminder app for busy or forgetful adults. It offers three reminder modes: loud alarms that can override silent modes, visible notifications including full-screen alerts, and talking reminders that speak the reminder title. Each reminder supports its own tone, volume, and ring duration, plus customizable snooze, repeat, and early alerts to help you avoid missed tasks, meetings, or bills. A checklist reminds you what you’ve completed and a history log lets you review past activity.

Designed for easy use and accessibility, it features fast entry with auto dictionary and voice input, one-tap presets, color categories, and search. It includes time-zone and daylight-saving corrections, backups to device or Google Drive, a home-screen widget, holiday reminders, and dark mode. For privacy, talking alerts can optionally play through earphones only. This is a general-purpose reminder app (not medical). Ad-safe mode places video ads on an optional mini-game page with notice, and an FAQ is available.

I wish I could like this, but having to override the battery optimizer makes it a fail. First, my phone doesn't want to do so. Second, I'm concerned about having to do so. I found a similar reminder which doesn't require me to force this. In theory, I like the app, which is why I didn't just give it only one star, which I would have otherwise done since it ended up a complete failed for me. It just needs some work to make it useable.
