What is CEFREF?
CEFREF is an advanced electronic migraine headache diary designed by headache specialists and migraine sufferers to monitor headache and painkiller usage. CEFREF was created to improve management of migraine. CEFREF is not a diagnostic tool and should not be used to diagnose migraine or other types of headache.

Migraine sufferer or healthcare professional?

CEFREF has two modes: STANDARD mode (standard users, i.e. migraine sufferers) and DOCTOR mode (for healthcare professionals to remotely monitor linked standard users).

Why use a headache diary?

Unless headaches occur daily, most people have difficulty remembering how many headaches they have and how many painkillers they use. Accurately recording this data can help your doctor decide what medication (if any) is indicated.

Designed with simplicity in mind, we want you to spend as little time on CEFREF as possible. Our platform allows users to quickly record and display essential headache data, which will help your doctor determine the most appropriate treatment.

When to use CEFREF?
You only need to access CEFREF to record a headache event. Headache data can be viewed at any time.

Key features:-

*Fast and simple data input. Don’t overload yourself or your doctor with none-essential data. CEFREF only records essential headache information: How severe is your headache (mild, moderate, severe) and whether you required painkillers? Data input takes seconds. Additional user defined free-text notes can be recorded if desired.

*Accurate data collection. An optional daily reminder function ensures that all data is captured, and data can be recorded retrospectively for up to 1-week.

*Record data blindly. Sometimes its useful to record headache data blindly – i.e. without knowing what you recorded yesterday or the day beforehand. CEFREF has this option, which can be activated by the user or remotely by the linked healthcare professional. Blinded data tends to be less biased and therefore more accurate.

*Easily view or share data. Your doctor will be guided by the accuracy of your headache data and how easy it is to understand. CEFREF was specifically designed to help you provide this data to your doctor. Current and historical headache data can easily be viewed within CEFREF in a variety of formats or downloaded to your personal email.
