Features & Capabilities

If a store, market, public place or any premise has multiple access points, and you must restrict the entrance to a limited number of people, how can the people who check the access can know for sure how many people are already in there?

Shared Counter is a people meter app designed to help you when real-time and collaborative counting matters. Just click +1 when someone enters, -1 when someone leaves. The counter updates automatically on the other people devices. This optimize the queues, and insures the number of people inside does not exceed the maximum allowed.

When the maximum limit is reached, all devices will vibrate to notify the the people checking the access that they must wait before allowing more people in.

The application records in real time all in/out events, and features advanced charts to highlight the peak hours, through what door people most enter/exit. You can later export these data in csv format and perform your own statistics.

This app is great! Since, implementing the app to our business, keeping track of our customer count has been so easy! Our staff loves the app because it is very intuitive and user friendly. The app seems useful but I faced with a blocking bug which prevents me from keeping using it. On the free version I created a shared counter then deleted myself from the subscribers without having shared it with others. Now I am unable to both create new counters and delete the previous one which I created :-( Update 2020-06-07: Updating review after the super-fast feedback from the developer who acknowledged the issue and reset my account to allow me use the app again. The fix will be delivered in a future release, but for the time being please never click "Leave" on a counter you created!
