CCB Hinos PRO

CCB Hymns PRO brings together the hymnals of the Christian Congregation in Brazil for reading, searching, and studying outside of church: at home, at the homes of fellow believers, at school, or at work. The search, index, and correlation functions work offline.

ALL EDITIONS
Hymnals 1 to 5, with choruses and hymns for Youth and Children, and the Italian works that preceded the Brazilian hymnal. Hymnals 4 and 5 already include the lyrics; the lyrics for Hymnals 1 to 3 and the Italian works are downloaded once, whenever you want, and then work offline. The lyrics are verse by verse, with the name of each section: "1st verse", "Chorus", "Ending". Increase or decrease the size of the lyrics, listen to the narrated lyrics, and move on to the next or previous hymn.

INDIVIDUAL HYMNS
There are 266 hymns composed by members of the congregation and sung with guitar accompaniment outside of worship services, with lyrics, chords, and, in many cases, a recording to listen to within the app itself. The lyrics accompany the recording verse by verse, the recordings are added to the playlist along with the melodies from the hymnals, and playlists by subject gather the individual hymns for each theme. The lyrics and chords are downloaded once and then work offline.

SEARCH AND FILTERS
Search by number, part of the title, or a verse, across all editions and individual hymns at once, without worrying about accents. In the hymn list, filter by occasion, chorus, those with chords, or tempo. Next to the search bar are the alphabetical index and the hymns for each occasion.

CORRELATION BETWEEN EDITIONS
Do you recognize the hymn by its old number? Type it in and see the same hymn in all five main editions. When a hymn doesn't exist in one edition, or the matching is still being checked, the app tells you this instead of guessing a number.

MELODY WITH TEMPO CONTROL
The melody of the hymns in Hymnal 5, and in Hymnals 3 and 4 where it is the same, is generated on the device itself, from the sheet music: it doesn't take up space and doesn't depend on a connection. Play the entire hymnal, in order or scrambled, adjust the tempo within the printed track, turn on the metronome and follow the lyrics, verse by verse, while the melody plays.

CHORDS
The chords for Hymnal 5 are displayed above the lyrics, with the key, capo, and chord diagram. Play a chord to hear it without stopping the melody.

SHEET MUSIC
The sheet music for each hymnal and the musician's scores (organ, piano, strings, C, B-flat, and E-flat, depending on the edition) are downloaded when you request them and saved on your device. In Downloads, each hymnal shows what you can download from it. In full screen, zoom in and scroll through the sheet music with your fingers; the screen doesn't turn off while you play.

PLAYLISTS AND EVENTS
Create playlists with the hymns you want, or use the ones the app prepares for each occasion, such as Holy Communion and Baptism, and for each topic of the individual hymns. Each event includes the date, place, notes, hymns, and photos, with a reminder if you request it.

YOUR DEVICES, TOGETHER
Pair your phone and tablet using the QR code on the same Wi-Fi network, and your favorites, playlists, and events will transfer from one to the other. The exchange is direct between devices: nothing goes through the internet.

YOUR DATA STAYS WITH YOU
No registration or login required. Favorites, playlists, events, and photos remain on your device, and the backup is a file you can save wherever you want.

Send a hymn, a single hymn, or a playlist via link. Those who have the app will open it directly in the app; those who don't will see the hymn page with the download link.

The app is free and displays ads. A one-time, optional purchase removes all ads; everything else works without it.

Warning: CCB Hinos PRO is an unofficial app, made by people who share the same faith. It has no connection with the Christian Congregation in Brazil nor is it maintained by it.
