User Reviews

Users find the app highly effective for learning and practicing blackjack basic strategy and card counting with multiple practice modes and a simple interface. However, repeated complaints include unintended dealer actions from screen touches, problematic back button behavior, missing advanced features like surrender and deviations, and lack of betting practice options. Overall, it's a valuable free app for skill improvement but could benefit from enhanced navigation and expanded training features.
Pros
  • Great for practicing basic blackjack strategy and card counting.
  • Includes multiple modes with specific hands for focused practice.
  • Simple, quick loading, and user-friendly interface.
  • Provides toggles to reveal running count (RC) and true count (TC) and has a built-in basic strategy reference.
  • Helps improve game skills effectively and is free to use.
Cons
  • Touching the screen near cards unintentionally triggers dealer hits despite having dedicated buttons.
  • Back button navigation is unintuitive, often returning to the main menu instead of previous screens or showing exit confirmation.
  • Limited features: lacks options for practicing surrender, multiple splits, or playing deviations.
  • Basic strategy card does not update when dealer hits on soft 17 setting is changed.
  • No support for betting units or chips to practice betting strategies.

It is so stupid and annoying that any time the screen is touched around your cards the dealer hits. There are buttons at the bottom used to hit and stand. Why also any time my finger mistakenly touches the screen? Also, I see no way to practice surrender, multiple splits, or ways to incorporate deviations.

Really good for basic strategy practice. Pairs and splits don't come up as often. I like that you can focus in on just those things. Definitely has improved my game in those areas. Looking forward to "challenge mode".
