Pinned messages let eligible users record a short voice update and place it on the map with an icon, such as an alert, crowd, traffic, weather, or general update. Other users can tap the pin to listen, view activity, and give feedback.

The free tier supports public push-to-talk with shorter talk windows. Plus unlocks longer speaking time, private room creation, and pinned message creation for location-based updates.

CB Radio Live uses microphone access only for push-to-talk voice transmission and recorded pinned messages. Location is used to connect you with nearby public channel users, display nearby activity, and place pinned messages on the map. Private rooms are not distance-limited.
