Cave Explorer

Cave Explorer is a torchlit cave expedition game where you navigate vast underground systems, manage dwindling flame fuel, and recover ancient relics.


The core experience is a unique fog-of-war exploration game. Your torch radius shrinks as fuel burns, forcing careful movement through procedurally generated chambers. Use Echo Sense to briefly map nearby stone without spending flame, collect map fragments to reveal whole wings, and avoid pits, collapsing shelves, and bat swarms that steal fuel.


Six escalating expeditions unlock through earned stars, from the shallow Whisper Mouth to the hostile Ashen Sink. A Relic Codex tracks artifacts you bring back, Cave Lore teaches real field knowledge about karst systems and torch craft, and an Explorer Journal records scores and runs.


Cave Explorer stands apart by making darkness itself the main opponent: every step is a choice between light, knowledge, and survival.
