Features & Capabilities

QR code is widely used for taking attendance due to it is easy to use. While sometimes this would cause attendance cheating happened due to the QR is always available, and can be reused.

In this application, we introduced a concept which is Refreshed QR code, which the QR code will be invalid and a new QR code will be generate every 10 seconds. This could drag down the possibility of student attempt to cheat on attendance.
Android ID verification also introduced as another factor of authentication in login page. Android ID enforce each device only can login one account only. This could prevent student cheat on attendance for their friends who absent on class.

FEATURES
- 2 roles existed in this app -- Lecturer and Student.
- User can view their own profile.
- User can change password.

- Lecturer can add, view, delete class.
- Lecturer can add, view, delete attendance of a day for a class.
- Lecturer can generate QR code. The QR code will be refreshed automatically. Lecturer can stop generating the QR code.

- Student can scan the QR code giving by the lecturer. Once the valid QR is detected, the attendance data will be recorded.
