5G Setting

The 5G Setting Chrome extension allows users to effortlessly switch their mobile network preferences between 5G, 4G, 3G, and 2G. It unlocks a hidden menu for advanced network configurations, enabling users to lock their device to a preferred network type for optimal connectivity. Key features include support for dual SIM cards and providing detailed network statistics to help users monitor their connection.

To use the extension, simply tap the "Phone Info" to access the secret setup page and toggle the "Set Preferred Network Type" at the bottom. Users can set GSM only for 2G, WCDMA only for 3G, LTE only for 4G, and NR only for 5G, depending on their device compatibility. Note that this extension works only with phones that have the required hardware and may be limited by some brands blocking forced network switching.
