Cartlane brings grocery lists, a searchable product database, editable prices, and swipe shopping into one simple app. Choose an order that fits your store and how you like to shop.

BUILD YOUR LIST QUICKLY
Search 1,000 built-in grocery and household items across 16 categories. Add quantities, adjust prices, and remove anything you no longer need. Create and switch between lists for different trips or stores.

Missing a product? Add its name, category, and price in a quick form. It becomes part of your database, ready for the next list. Edit products, package sizes, prices, and handling details in Settings.

FAVORITES, BUNDLES, AND BUY AGAIN
Keep favorite items beside the list's add-item control. Add reusable bundles for meals and routines, such as Taco Night or Sunday Restock. Save a list as your own bundle, edit bundles, and quickly add items you bought on previous completed trips.

SWIPE THROUGH YOUR SHOP
Swipe right to put an item in your cart. Swipe left to skip it and move it to the end. Undo a swipe, mark unavailable items for later, browse categories, and review or change what is in your cart. The current item sits near your thumb for one-handed shopping. Keep the screen on while shopping if you prefer.

FIVE WAYS TO ORDER YOUR GROCERIES
Choose your store and shopping order:
• Store order: follow the category order in your store layout.
• Cold last: leave chilled items and then frozen items until later.
• Heavy first: prioritize heavy items before fragile items within temperature groups, keeping cold items later.
• Lower price first: prioritize lower item totals within temperature groups, keeping cold items later.
• Added order: follow the order you added items.

Start with popular store templates or create a store. Drag the 16 built-in categories into your aisle order, from entrance to checkout. Save different layouts for different stores.

LIST TOTALS, CART TOTALS, AND PRICE HISTORY
See the estimated cost of your whole list and the items in your cart. Adjust prices as you shop, view locally saved price history, and finish a trip to build your purchase history.

The catalog starts with CAD reference prices drawn from Ontario averages and retailer snapshots. They are editable starting points, not live store prices. Totals are before tax; items without prices are marked and excluded from the estimate.

SHARE WITH YOUR HOUSEHOLD
Sync lists, favorites, bundles, product edits, prices, purchase history, and store layouts between nearby phones over local Wi-Fi or paired Bluetooth. Transfers use encryption and a private household key. Keep Cartlane open on both phones while syncing.

Share a list as text, or export and merge backups using Android's file picker. Backup files are unencrypted and exclude the household key.

No accounts, ads, analytics, or Cartlane cloud servers. Lists work offline. Android 8.0 or later.

Store templates are editable starting points, not verified branch layouts. Sorting follows your saved categories and item details; cold and packing priorities may revisit an aisle.
