The app analyses the factors that genuinely affect fish activity:

- Atmospheric pressure and its trend — the key factor
- Air and water temperature
- Temperature stability over recent days
- Wind speed and direction
- Cloud cover and rainfall
- Moon phases
- Sunrise and sunset
- Seasonal cycles

Each factor carries its own weight, and those weights differ for peaceful and predatory fish — because they simply do not behave the same way.
