Works with most ELM327-compatible Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) OBD2 adapters — around $40 on Amazon. No $60–$120 locked-in dongle required. Built and tested with several ELM327 BLE adapters — the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE+ (our recommended adapter), the Veepeak OBDCheck BLE, the Vgate iCar Pro, and the LELink2; most other common ELM327 BLE dongles are designed to work too. Requires an ELM327-compatible Bluetooth LE (Bluetooth 4.0+) OBD2 adapter, a vehicle with an OBD2 port (any 1996-or-newer vehicle sold in the US), and Android 8.0 or later.
