Shared Folder: SMB connects to shared folders on your PC, Mac, or network drive (NAS) using your home or work Wi-Fi network. The connection goes directly from your phone to your device, without passing through any server. You do not need to create an account. You do not need to install anything on your computer.

Just enter your device address, tap Connect, and start browsing your files.

Large transfers keep running in the background with a progress notification, so you can continue using your phone while they finish.

PRIVACY AND SECURITY

Here is what the app does not do: it does not have its own servers, it does not show ads, and it does not include trackers or analytics of any kind. Your files never leave your local network.

If you save a connection, including the address, username, and password, the app encrypts it with AES-256 using a key generated and protected by Android itself. This data is not sent anywhere. You can delete it whenever you want from the home screen.

WHAT YOU NEED

An Android phone running Android 8.0 or later, an active shared folder on your PC, Mac, or NAS using SMB, and both devices connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

The app works inside your local network. It does not allow access to your computer from outside your home over the internet.
