Your agency sets up your account
There is no sign-up in the app. Your agency creates your account and sends you your login. Sign in with that email and password, choose a 4-digit PIN, and you are ready for your next shift. The app only works with an active CareWave agency account.

Schedule
Today's shifts, at a glance. Open the app and see where you are going next, with the client, address and time. Look ahead through your shift schedule for the next two weeks, or plan the whole month on the calendar. Accept or decline open-shift offers with a tap, keep your weekly availability current, and call off a shift through the app when you have to.

Clock in and out
Clock in right at the door. CareWave checks your location against the client's address when you clock in and out, so every visit is verified for EVV without extra paperwork. Location is used only while you clock in or out; the app never tracks you in the background.

Clients
Know each client before you knock. Every shift opens to the client's profile and a short care-needs summary prepared by WaveAI, so you walk in knowing their preferences, routines and what to watch for.

Visit notes
Say it. WaveAI writes it. At clock-out, record your visit note by voice and WaveAI turns it into written care notes for your coordinator. No typing in the car, no paperwork at the end of a long day.

Messages
Your agency, one tap away. Message coordinators and teammates with text, photos and voice notes, react to and forward messages, and ask WaveAI support chat when you have a question about the app.

Earnings
Every hour, every payslip. Review your hours and earnings, open payslips and remittances, acknowledge them in a tap, and share a payslip PDF whenever you need proof of income. Your tax forms are here too.

CareScore
Your CareScore, shift by shift. See your reliability rating, the grade you are working toward, and whether your trend is up, steady or down.

Notifications
Stay in the loop. Push notifications for shift offers, messages, payslips and updates from your agency, plus a notification center to catch up on anything you missed.

Documents
Upload certifications and IDs straight from your phone, keep your certifications list current, and update your profile and photo whenever something changes.

Security
Your PIN, your privacy. A 4-digit PIN protects the app every time you open it, with fingerprint or face unlock where your phone supports it. A privacy cover hides client information the moment you switch apps. Optional two-factor authentication adds a code at login. Crash diagnostics are stripped of client information before they leave your phone. No ads.

Permissions
Location is used only to verify clock in and clock out. The microphone is used for voice notes and voice messages. Photos are chosen through your phone's photo picker.

Who CareWave is for
Caregivers, home health aides and personal care aides, 18 and over, employed by a home care agency that uses CareWave. If you are not sure, ask your coordinator.
