CaramelotDeck is a dessert recipe app for anyone who bakes for the pleasure of
it. Open it and you land in a pastry window: today's recipe under a glass
cloche, and a shelf of jars holding everything else. There is no sign-up, no
feed to scroll and no ads — just a beautiful library of sweets and four
genuinely different ways to find your next one.

Every recipe opens the same way: a photo, the prep and cook time, the
difficulty, and three tabs. Ingredients scale to any number of servings from 1
to 50 and round to the fractions bakers actually use — a half, a third, three
quarters — so you are never converting 1.67 cups in your head. Tick off what you
already have at home and only the rest goes to your shopping list. Steps are
numbered, tickable, and any step with a time in it gets a countdown timer that
tells you when it is done. The Story tab pulls the recipe's history, so you know
where a sachertorte or a pastel de nata actually came from.

and filter by category or search by ingredient.
2. Pick a recipe, set your servings, and tick off what is already in your
cupboard.
3. Send the rest to your shopping list, then cook with the step timers running.

WHY CARAMELOTDECK
Most recipe apps ask you to make an account before they show you anything.
This one does not. It ships with a curated library that works with no connection
at all, and pulls in a wider pool of desserts when you are online. Your saved
recipes, collections, pantry ticks and shopping list live on your device and
nowhere else. The Flavor Lab and Sweet Map exist because "what can I make with
pistachio and cardamom?" and "what do they eat for pudding in Portugal?" are the
two questions a search box answers badly.

PRIVACY
No account, no tracking, no ads. Everything you save stays on your phone.
The app fetches recipe and reference data from public sources; it never sends
your data anywhere.
