2024-12-31	A *****	Not worth the money and not even worth playing despite having game pass. All you do is to read and read and click on every small sentence. Then the mini game to add to your annoyance. You cannot even do fast reading or speed up. Everything is such a damn drag. Then you keep on reading more into how hopeless she is waiting for that someone. Seriously, the character is just annoying and you get stuck in her loop of never ending reading and sleep/dream. Go learn how to move on and heal.

2024-12-28	Ni*****	Beautifully crafted story, I don't remember how I found Caramel Column and their games however I'm thrilled that I was able to experience this. The emotions felt for Es is immensely different in a good way than many other stories I've read and played.

2024-11-28	Aj*****	The sequel to ALTER EGO didn't disappoint. This is honestly quite beautiful. Every moment filled with her yearning for the one she loves, every letter, every word. As beautiful a story as its prequel. If you were wondering if this was worth it, I can tell you, it is.

2024-11-23	Ra*****	Disappointing Wanted to support the company because ego complex was phenomenal but this was a lazy game. A girl walking through a corridor and reading phrases from books, no Interaction or choices of dialogue. The books themselves are underwhelming with no philosophical dialogue or links between them.

2024-10-13	Mo*****	the characters designs, the atmosphere of the game, the sounds, everything is very much of my cup of tea, I enjoyed playing the game and I look forward for more new game releases from this developer, everyone did a fantastic job in bringing this game to life and I highly recommend everyone to give it a try.

2024-09-26	An*****	I really like the narrative in this game although it is pretty short I did enjoy the story. However the "gameplay" does make the experience as a whole a little less enjoyable. Yes it is worth it to get passed the books and the mini games definitely. But I just feel like the game could've gone without so much tapping on text bubbles. Still highly recommend

Truthfully, I think that Complex may have been more impactful as a visual novel without mini game or clicking mechanics, as the mini games feel very clunky and the pacing is very slow... I didn't feel that this was a problem in the original. It is also extremely short for the pricing and didn't feel particularly satisfying in either gameplay or expanding original story.
