Random and temperamental app. Sometimes it connects with my light (Q-55W) other times it won't. Then when it does connect, sometimes the functionality in the app works, other times it doesn't. I don't know if I have a faulty light, but my other three 30W Boltzen lights work great. This Q-55W is a complete pain. The dimmer knob and WiFi are temperamental. I wish I'd never bought it. Plus the beam on the 30W is tighter and, IMHO, just as bright. So don't bother with the Q-55W, for what its worth.
