Update 21 Jan 2025: home screen scaling is broken and setting are impossible to select. Needs fix This is a nice way to see what's going on in California and, to some extent, the entire western US in energy supply and demand. It really could use some historical data display and perhaps even feature discussion and analysis of trends in energy and energy markets, but as an ordinary citizen, just being able to view the data is nice. I used to use the web site for that, now I can do it on my phone.

I use this app to quickly check how clean California's energy mix is at this very moment and for the next 7 days. I can then plan my EV charging and other heavy loads during times when CA has excess clean energy or low demand. I love how slick this app works. CAISO, your tech team is great!
