Overflow: Pipe Puzzle

The water is already on its way. You have seconds to build the water a path.

Overflow is a pipe puzzle about thinking fast and committing. A countdown runs, the
water starts moving, and from then on you are laying track ahead of water that will
not wait for you. Fill more of the board and you earn more stars — but every extra
tile is another second you are not spending on the route to the drain.

HOW IT PLAYS

• Tap a tile to move your cursor there, then tap again to lay a pipe.
• Or hold and drag to steer — rest your thumb beside the board and it works like a
trackpad, so your hand never covers what you are looking at.
• A PLACE button sits under the powerups, so the whole game can be played one-handed.
• Pieces come from a queue. Hold one back for later, or flush the whole queue when it
deals you a run you cannot use.
• Hit Fast Forward when you are confident and bank the time you saved.

STARS, SCORE AND SECOND CHANCES

• Getting the water to the drain clears the level. How much of the board it crossed
on the way decides whether you walk away with one star or three.
• Score is the finer measure: multiplier pipes raise it, replacing a pipe you already
laid costs you, and fast-forwarding early pays a bonus on every tile after it.
• Dead-end the water and you are not finished yet — take the rewind, wind the level
back and try the junction again.
• Every level keeps your best, so there is always a reason to go back to an early one
with what you know now.
