Mountain Cableways is a unique interactive application centered around the development and management of mountain cable car networks. The app features a strategic network-building game where players connect mountain peaks with aerial tramways, manage budgets, and transport passengers across challenging alpine terrain.
The core gameplay involves placing cable connections between mountain nodes, each with realistic elevation data, to build an efficient cableway network. Players must balance construction costs against the goal of connecting all stations and reaching passenger transport targets. As levels progress, the terrain becomes more complex, budgets tighter, and passenger demands higher.
Beyond the game, the application includes a curated collection of factual information about cableways worldwide, covering engineering specifications, historical milestones, safety standards, environmental benefits, and urban transit applications. An interactive quiz section tests knowledge with questions derived from real cableway data.
The gallery section presents a visual collection of mountain landscapes and cableway systems, each accompanied by descriptive context about the depicted scenes and engineering concepts.
All progress, including high scores, accumulated coins, completed levels, and quiz performance, is saved locally and displayed on the main dashboard. The settings screen provides control over sound and vibration preferences, along with detailed statistics and the option to reset all progress.
The application is designed with a cohesive dark alpine theme using custom typography and a professional color palette of deep blues, teals, and warm accent tones. The interface adapts to all screen sizes without layout overflow, maintaining consistent visual quality across devices.
