Checkers Byte: Play Online

Play checkers online with friends, challenge the computer offline, and find a fresh puzzle every day. Checkers Byte brings classic draughts to a 3D board, with room to learn, compete and make it your own.

PLAY YOUR WAY
- Invite a friend for a live game at 30 seconds per move, or play over days with 24 hours for each turn.
- Share an invite link. Friends can join on Android, iPhone or in a browser.
- Find an opponent near your rating in ranked or casual matchmaking. If no player is available, the computer opponent is clearly labeled.
- Pass and play with two people on one device.
- Turn on notifications when you want a reminder that it is your move.

A CHALLENGE AT YOUR LEVEL
Choose from five computer levels, from beginner Hopper to expert Champion. Or meet Rival, an opponent that adjusts to your recent results. Computer games work offline, with free hints and undo in casual play.

FOUR WAYS TO PLAY CHECKERS
- American checkers, also called English draughts.
- Pool checkers, with backward captures and flying kings.
- Russian draughts, also known as shashki.
- Brazilian draughts, with the largest capture required.
Each rule set has its own rating. Play ranked games to climb, or choose a casual match.

LEARN A LITTLE, PLAY A LITTLE
Build your skills with guided lessons, from required jumps and crowning to combinations and endgames. Work through puzzle packs, practice with drills, and return for the daily puzzle and quests. Hints are free in Challenges.

SEE THE MOVE YOU MISSED
Replay finished games move by move with a full scoresheet. Review a mistake to see a stronger move and its explanation. Move reviews use earned XP; pass-and-play reviews are free.

YOUR BOARD, YOUR PROFILE
Earn XP, coins and badges through play. Unlock boards, pieces, avatars, banners and more. Preview items together, compare the new look with your current one, then save the changes you want. Coins are earned in the game and are not sold for money.

START PLAYING
Play as a guest in the app. Create an account for online play and to keep your account progress across devices. Friends can also join at checkersbyte.com/play; browser play requires an account.

The app includes ads. An optional one-time Ad Free purchase removes ads between games on devices signed in to your account. Optional reward videos remain available. There are no energy timers.
