Reviewers largely praise Text Editor as one of Android’s best and most usable editors—functional, intuitive, and fast. The app is repeatedly described as user-friendly and quick to load. However, several reviewers mention feature gaps and reliability concerns: some request dark mode, split view, and image insertion; others mention prompts when saving, potential data loss, and occasional bugs. A few users discuss ad experience, with some complaints about ads in certain builds contrasted with others noting an ad-free experience. Overall, sentiment is strongly positive, with clear demand for polishing UX and adding the missing editing features.
