This app was produced with the support of Hyundai Autoever and the Seoul Community Chest of Korea.

Currently, disability welfare information is provided in a dispersed manner across multiple sites, and because the information is not widely known, people who are eligible for support often miss out on opportunities. Also, even if we want to provide various activities to people with disabilities, we sometimes have difficulties because we do not know how to find people with disabilities who need them.

Therefore, through ‘Beeside’, we aim to provide welfare policies and support information that disabled people and their guardians need, but are distributed across multiple sites and difficult to check. By doing so, we aim to lower the entry barrier to information and at the same time establish a network that connects participants with providers of related content or programs to promote social participation of people with disabilities.

Beeside provides two main functions: communication function and information function.

The communication function is a community function that allows users to share useful information. Users create posts and comments to share experiences related to disabilities, share information about related benefits and systems, and create a space that is helpful to each other. Clubs and related organizations are not only able to recruit and promote users of their planned programs, but also receive help in directly identifying the needs of disabled people and their families and creating activities tailored to them.

The information function is a function that provides customized information based on user information. Through the information bulletin board, information distributed across various sites such as central ministries, local governments, and foundations is gathered in one place and provided to users. In addition, information is provided tailored to the user through filtering by region, disability type, and category, and users can easily check and apply for support they can receive. This can reduce the difficulty of disabled people and their guardians having to go around and collect scattered information.

■ Things to keep in mind when using Beeside
1. Interaction within the app is not possible without a network connection.
2. You must allow file access permission to create a post with attached photos.
3. You must allow notification permission to check the app's push notifications.
