Code Viewer - IDE for Python 3

Code Viewer is a local-first Android development tool for opening, editing, reviewing, and running code files and small projects directly on your device.

MOBILE CODE EDITOR

• Import ZIP projects through Android's system picker.
• Open Python, Kotlin, Java, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, Markdown, XML, YAML, and many other text/code formats.
• Work with a file tree, tabs, search, draft recovery, and conflict protection.
• Inspect Markdown, JSON, CSV/TSV, SQLite, HTML, and SVG in mobile-friendly views.

RUN PYTHON

• Run Python files on the device with an in-app terminal.
• Review output, errors, and supported packages without leaving the app.
• The Google Play build disables runtime package mutation and unrestricted system access for safety.

OPTIONAL AI TOOLS

• Connect a provider, model, endpoint, and API key you choose.
• Ask questions about code, request explanations, or prepare file changes.
• Review and apply proposed changes instead of silently overwriting files.
• Use Agent Pro with selected project context, file plans, verification summaries, and rollback protection.
• Text-based multi-file compatibility keeps smaller OSS models useful when they do not support native tools.
• Streaming, Think mode, image context, and native tools are enabled only when supported by the selected model.

IMAGE CONTEXT AND WEB SEARCH

• Attach only an image you explicitly choose with Android's system picker to the current AI request.
• Images are resized locally and no broad photo-library permission is requested.
• Optionally configure a supported search service and attach user-triggered web results to AI context.

PRIVACY CONTROLS

• Projects, chats, run output, and support files stay in app-private local storage.
• Projects are not silently scanned or automatically uploaded.
• Only content selected for an AI request is sent to the provider configured by the user.
• Secret-like values can be blocked or masked before sending.

AI features are optional and depend on the selected provider/model and its terms. Some providers require an API key.
