SpineCart gives your reading club a beautiful, practical way to manage your book rotation right from your phone. The main screen presents your collection as a side view of a library cart, where each book pick becomes a vertical spine with its own color, height, and texture. A row of four brass bookends along the bottom lets you move instantly between your Up Next queue, the current Reading selection, your Finished shelf, and a New Pick form. Every book spine displays a colored ribbon bookmark matching its status, with teal for upcoming reads, amber for the book you are reading now, and burgundy for titles you have completed.
On the Up Next shelf, your proposed books queue up in order as varied, touchable spines that you can tap to edit or swipe to promote to Reading. The Reading tab pulls the current pick forward and shows your club note, along with a single Mark Finished action that moves the book to the finished shelf with one tap. The Finished shelf keeps your reading history sorted by most recently completed, and a small search field lets you filter any list by title or author in seconds. Adding a new pick is straightforward through the New Pick tab, where you enter a title, author, optional discussion note, and status, and the spine appears immediately at the end of the Up Next queue.
Your dashboard sits right on the cart front and keeps things tactile and glanceable. The current read appears as a highlighted spine pulled out from the top shelf, so everyone can see what the club is reading. Two engraved brass plaques display your total books waiting and how many you have finished this month using crisp white numerals, without any distracting charts or badges. A brass bookend quick action button lets you jump straight into adding a new pick from the dashboard, keeping the flow fast and focused. Everything you enter stays securely on your device with no accounts, no sync setup, and no internet connection required.
