Video Kiosk supports digital signage using either a full screen or a split screen layout. In the split screen layout, three areas can host standard Android App Widgets. While there are literally thousands of App Widgets available, there wasn’t a vertical, portrait view, Weather Widget that fit nicely in Widget Area B. So, we wrote one. Video Kiosk Weather Widget runs on Android 4 or later and is compatible with any Android Device.

- Powered by Yahoo, it displays weather for any WOEID (Yahoo Where in the world ID) and includes WOEID lookup feature
- Configurable display – Choose from Fahrenheit (F) and Celsius (C), multiple Icon sets, three icon layouts, customizable Text Size and Color
- Free trial. While it is fully functional, for demo purposes weather updates always display the conditions in Richmond, BC, Canada. Once you purchase and activate a license, the weather widget will display weather for your selected location.

INSTALLATION

Because Yahoo Weather requires the use of OAuth authentication, a Yahoo Api Key and Api Secret are required to activate the Video Kiosk Weather Widget license. When you decide to purchase the Video Kiosk Weather Widget, first obtain your Yahoo Api Key and Api Secret and then contact us to purchase and have Video Kiosk Weather Widget licenses activated.
