The discs actually work fine, I would give them 4* since I still get the odd drop in connection. But this review is for the Android app and it is still dreadful. I'm connected to my BT WiFi, can see the internet fine, etc, and the first message I get from the app is "you are not connected to your BT WiFi". Poor. 2021 update - still not working, the app can't find my wi-fi even though I'm connected to it. 2025 - no change, still garbage 4 years later

everything was good until a few weeks ago when I added a 4th disc to accommodate 27 wifi bulbs across the discs without compromising performance. Since then the network will only stay online for random amounts of time, maybe an hour, maybe a day. The primary disc does stay online but the others as mesh nodes disconnect. When the network is up it runs well with good throughput, its just frustrating to have to keep restarting the network when I notice things are stopping working.
