Odumak Calculator

[OVERVIEW]

Odumak Calculator combines six calculation modes in a single app: basic, scientific,
programmer, converter, everyday and RPN. Modes are switched from the mode bar, and all six
share one history and one memory.

The app is free and has no in-app purchases. What you calculate is processed on your device
and is not transmitted anywhere. No account or sign-in is required. Nothing plays
automatically and nothing interrupts you while you work.


[MAIN FEATURES]

Six calculators
• Basic - operator precedence is applied. 1+2x3 evaluates to 7
• Scientific - trigonometric functions, logarithms, powers and factorials, with a degree and
radian switch
• Programmer - hexadecimal, decimal, octal and binary convert instantly, with bitwise
operations and 32-bit wraparound
• Converter - 12 categories including length, mass, temperature and data
• Everyday - tip, VAT including reverse calculation from a tax-inclusive price, discount,
loan, compound interest, BMI, dates, percent change and cryptocurrency
• RPN - reverse Polish notation with a stack

Accuracy
• Results are shown to 15 significant digits and stop where floating-point error begins
• Monetary amounts are computed in exact decimal. The binary floating-point error that makes
0.1 plus 0.2 display as 0.30000000000000004 does not occur in an amount
• The source of every conversion factor is stated inside the app: SI definitions from the
BIPM and the 1959 international yard and pound agreement for length, mass and volume,
ITS-90 for temperature, CODATA 2022 for physical constants, and IEC 80000-13 for data
(1 KiB = 1024 B)
• BMI applies the international thresholds (overweight at 25) or the Asia-Pacific thresholds
(23), selected by the device region

Key response
• A key sinks and its shadow contracts while it is pressed
• Vibration fires at the moment of contact, and its weight differs by key type
• Three strengths (light, medium, strong) and five feels (classic, soft, sharp, mechanical,
deep) are available. Vibration can also be turned off

Boost mode
Settings contains Super Boost Mode. When it is on, keys spring as they are pressed and a
screen effect plays when a result appears. It does not affect the result.

Input
• Handwriting input (labs) - write the expression directly on screen. Recognition runs on
your device
• Physical keyboard input, copy and paste
• Parentheses, cursor movement, and tapping a previous expression to continue editing it

History
• History, memory and tape panels
• History can be shared as text, one calculation per line
• A home screen widget, whose values can be masked with dots, and a Quick Settings tile

Display
• On foldables and tablets the calculator and the history sit side by side in two columns
• Four themes: dark, light, AMOLED and follow system
• Nine languages: Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese (Simplified and Traditional), German,
Spanish, French and Portuguese
• Accessibility - every key is named, touch targets are at least 48dp, and the system
reduce-motion setting is honoured

Ads
A rewarded video plays only when you select Unlock Super Boost with an ad in Settings.
Watching it to the end switches Super Boost on for 24 hours. That feature only adds showy
effects on keys and results, so the numbers never change, and every calculation stays
available with it off. The app asks once on the 5th, 13th, 26th, 47th and 81st launch,
and never after that.
