Antibiogilar

This application is an aid to the prescription of antibiotics and antifungals for interns and doctors of health facilities participating in antibiogilar.

The application is for use by health professionals. Its content is not a substitute for the doctor's prescription liability.

Treatment proposals cover approximately 80% of inpatient clinical situations and are based on PILLY, recommendations from learned societies and state agencies. They may also be based on the analysis of recent publications not yet integrated into other recommendations.

They will be updated as other reference documents become available.

Co-morbidities, antecedents, side effects or contraindications may lead the prescriber to use other choices.

The dosages are for the normarenal adult. A page proposes a selection of adaptations according to the DFG extracted from the site www.sitegpr.org which presents complete information.

For common infections in city medicine, prescribers are encouraged to use the "antibioclic" application.

Antibiotics are a valuable resource. Their use selects bacteria resistant to antibiotics. When used inappropriately, for too long, or at inappropriate dosages, there is an increased, and unnecessary, risk of antimicrobial resistance.

It is necessary :

quickly treat serious infections (quick-sofa ≥ 2, severe ex sepsis, septic shock)
know not to put antibiotics in the absence of bacterial infection,
de-escalate to adapt to bacteriological results,
limit treatment times
Any prescription must be justified in the medical file, at the initiation, during reassessment at 48-72 hours and when its duration exceeds 7 days

When antibiogilar was put online in February 2019, only the Tourcoing Hospital Center published its recommendations. The proposals take into account the bacterial ecology of the previous year at the Hospital Center Tourcoing. Their use on another site requires verifying their suitability for local ecology.

 In case of doubt the prescribers are invited to call their referent in antibiotic therapy or an infectious disease specialist to better adapt the treatment.
