Extends the work-profile notifications to your Wear-OS smartwatch

Features & Capabilities

Due to some underlying policy restrictions, some Wear-OS smartwatches are not able to show the notifications being generated by the work-profile apps. Some examples of this are the Samsung Galaxy Watch (when paired to a non-Samsung smartphone), Ticwatch Pro 3, etc. This often becomes one of the limiting factors in the usage of the smartwatch.

That's what 'WorkNotifier' helps you with. It re-creates the work-profile notifications from your phone, which are then successfully captured by the watch! All you need to do is:

1. Install WorkNotifier from the play-store.
2. Give it notification access.
3. Add the work-apps you want to forward to the watch
4. Press the power button to start the monitoring. That's it!

The notifications generated are identical to the ones generated by the work-profile apps. They also have the same notification actions, which you can use from your watch to perform operations like replying to text-messages, marking them as read, opening them on phone via watch, etc.

My Samsung Galaxy Watch 7 won't receive notifications from my work apps (for example, Outlook and Teams). Tried it on both my Pixel 6a and OnePlus 12 with the same result. This app fixes this issue. The only con I can think of is that all phone notifications from Outlook (which I have installed on my personal profile and work profile) now show up as coming from Work Notifier and I can no longer have different alert sounds for each app. In any case, Samsung/Google need to get their stuff together

This app is super! I would have one issue: could you please keep notification categories or at least create separate per apps? And/or may I ask to don't catch main profile's notifications, from that env where the app is installed?

Brilliant job. This is something that should have been allowed by Samsung by default but really happy to see that you've created it yourself. Works like a charm for my SGW6 classic
