Bright Branches: Family Tree

Bright Branches brings your family tree to the television — a beautiful, living display of the people you come from, made for the biggest screen in your home.

Sign in and your tree appears, ready to explore. Move with your remote and the tree gently reframes to center each person, their parents, and their children — gliding like something alive rather than a chart you scroll. It's calm, cinematic, and made to be watched together in the living room.

YOUR TREE, FROM WHERE IT ALREADY LIVES
• FamilySearch — sign in and your tree renders live, nothing to import
• GEDCOM — upload a file from any genealogy program
• Ancestry — bring your tree over with a one-time concierge import

FIVE LIVING DESIGNS
• GeoMeTree — a flowing fan across the generations
• Podscape — your family in paired pods bowing out from the center
• Bright Branches — an organic tree with deep roots and reaching limbs
• Square Roots — a clean, architectural layout of ancestors
• Family Time — a clock face where each hour holds a generation

MAKE IT YOURS
• Hand-tuned color palettes
• Animated scenes — Auburn Sunset, Full Moon, Purple Sky, and more
• Or set your own family photos as the backdrop

A FAMILY PORTRAIT WHEN THE ROOM GOES QUIET
Bright Branches screensaver mode — an always-on portrait of your family, turning your TV into a living frame between gatherings.

EXPLORE WITH YOUR REMOTE
Navigation works with the remote that came with your TV or streaming device — move through the generations and the tree follows, keeping whoever you're looking at front and center.

GETTING STARTED IS FREE
Sign in with FamilySearch, a Google account, or your Bright Branches account. FamilySearch families can start free. Additional designs, animated artwork, and photo backgrounds are part of Bright Branches Gallery, managed through your Bright Branches account.

Bright Branches is the display layer for the research you've already done — the place your family tree finally gets to be seen, together, on the screen everyone gathers around.
