Type the dose or type the water. BrewRatioCraft solves the other side of the ratio for you, then fills in the grind, the water temperature and the pour schedule that the brewer you picked actually wants.

No account. No sign-up. No network. It works exactly the same in airplane mode as it does on wi-fi, because there is nothing on the other end to talk to.

WHAT IT DOES

• Solve any side of the ratio. Enter a dose and get the water, enter the water and get the dose, or nudge the ratio itself and watch both ends move. The dial shows you where you are between a light and a heavy cup.

• Seven brewers, each with its own numbers. V60, Chemex, AeroPress, French press, espresso, moka pot and cold brew — each carries its own ratio range, grind setting, target temperature, total time and step-by-step pour schedule.

• 24 bean profiles. Pick the origin and roast you are working with and the app shifts the suggested ratio and temperature to suit it, rather than pretending every bean brews the same.

• The all-methods ladder. See at a glance what your current dose would mean across every brewer, so switching from a V60 to a French press is one glance rather than a recalculation.

• A brew journal. Log what you actually brewed, rate it, and watch the chart. It holds your last 240 brews, so you can see whether last month's grind change really helped.

• Save the ones that worked. Pin up to 12 recipes — method, dose, water, ratio, grind, temperature, time and your own notes — and pull them straight back up.

• Grams or ounces, Celsius or Fahrenheit, as many decimal places as you want. Set it once in Settings.

• Badges and a day streak, if that is the sort of thing that gets you to the grinder in the morning.

• Share a recipe out to messages, email or your notes app with one tap. Your phone's own share sheet handles it and you choose the destination.

PRIVACY, PLAINLY

BrewRatioCraft requests no permissions at all — no camera, no location, no microphone, no contacts, no notifications. It contains no analytics SDK, no advertising SDK and no crash reporter. Every recipe, log entry and preference is written to a single local database on your phone and never leaves it. Uninstalling the app deletes all of it.

Anyone who has stood at the counter doing arithmetic before coffee. Home brewers dialling in a new bag, people moving between a V60 at home and an AeroPress at work, and anyone who wants the same cup twice in a row.
