Merk is a modern, beautifully designed Nextcloud Bookmarks client for Android. Built for people who take their privacy seriously and host their own data.

SAVE YOUR WAY
Merk connects to your own Nextcloud server using the official Login Flow v2; secure, no passwords stored, just a simple browser-based approval. Your bookmarks stay on your server, always in your control.

BROWSE WITHOUT LEAVING THE APP
Open any bookmark directly inside Merk's built-in browser. No switching apps, no losing your place. And when you need the full browser experience, one tap sends it to Chrome or your default browser.

SAVE FROM ANYWHERE
Share any URL directly to Merk from Chrome, Firefox, or any other app. The title is pre-filled, tags are suggested from your existing collection, and your bookmark is synced to your server immediately.

ORGANIZE EXACTLY HOW YOU WANT
Tag your bookmarks, sort them into folders, and filter your list with a single tap. Create new folders on the fly without leaving the save screen. Search across titles, URLs, tags, and descriptions instantly.

NEVER FORGET TO READ IT
Tap the alarm icon on any bookmark to open Tasks.org with the link pre-filled as a new task. Set a due date, pick a list, and let Tasks.org remind you; all on your own infrastructure, synced via CalDAV.

OFFLINE FIRST
Your bookmarks are always available, even without a connection. Merk keeps a local copy and syncs changes the moment you're back online.

PROTECTED AND PRIVATE
Enable biometric app lock to require fingerprint or PIN every time Merk opens. No analytics. No ads. No third-party servers. Just your Nextcloud.

LIGHT AND DARK MODE
Switch between light and dark mode with a single tap right in the app. Merk looks great either way.
