Recent reviews

There are a lot of nice things about this app, like the recordings, kana writing explanations and cultural notes. However, it quickly devolves into learning huge lists of vocabulary with very little application. The quizzes are a bit of a joke/after thought, and there are very few exercises for practice. Even though I own both this and intermediate, I don't think they are worth it. Fun if you want to see some Japanese, poor if you want to learn the language.

The learning structure is pretty good. I am using this app to learn basic Japanese. I appreciate the contextual explanations every now and again, makes it more fun to learn! One suggestion I have for the creators is to please have a glossary of all the words I have learned till that point and allow me to do a vocab test at random and at my convenience.
