BS Gate

BS Gate is the official ticket-verification app for Boring Shows event staff. It gives gate checkers a fast, reliable way to scan and validate tickets at the entrance and stay in sync with their team throughout the event.

Note: BS Gate is a staff-only tool. Accounts are created and assigned by event managers. It is not for general ticket buyers — customers book tickets through the main Boring Shows app.

Fast QR ticket scanning
Scan attendee QR codes at the gate and get an instant result — valid, already used, or invalid. Entries are checked against the live event data so duplicates and fake tickets are caught on the spot.

Live scan stats
See how many tickets have been scanned, how many remain, and rejected counts in real time, so you always know the status of your gate.

Assigned events
Managers assign you to specific events. When you sign in, you see only the events you are working, keeping the app clean and focused.

Team chat
Send quick text messages to the rest of the gate team and your manager. Use ready-made quick messages for common situations so you can communicate without slowing down the line.

Walkie-talkie
Press to talk and send instant voice messages to the whole team, or privately to your manager. Perfect for coordinating across busy venues where typing isn't practical.

Live location for coordination
While you are on duty, your location can be shared with your manager so the team can be positioned and coordinated effectively across the venue. Location sharing is tied to your shift.

Profile
Set your name and profile photo so teammates and managers can recognize you.

HOW IT WORKS
1. Your event manager creates your checker account and assigns you to an event.
2. Sign in with the email and password provided by your manager.
3. Open your assigned event and start scanning tickets at the gate.
4. Use team chat and the walkie-talkie to stay coordinated.
