Bolingo - African Diaspora

Bolingo unites the African diaspora around what brings them together: culture, family, friends, and creativity.

Wherever life takes you, the connection with your loved ones should never be broken. Bolingo was born from this simple conviction. Rooted in Congolese culture and designed for the entire diaspora, the app brings together in one place the creators, families, and friends who make the heart of the community beat.

COMMUNITY
An immersive feed to discover creators, share your photos and videos, react, comment, and follow the people who matter. Publish what reflects who you are and share your culture with your loved ones.

LIVE
Go live and bring your community together in real time. Sing, dance, showcase your products, or share your expertise: the live stream is yours. Your viewers comment, react, and build the energy of the live stream as they cheer you on.

CREATION
Filme directly in the app, choose a sound, preview, and publish in just a few taps.

SOUNDS AND TRENDINGS
Each published video automatically creates its own original sound, named after its creator. Discover the sounds that are trending in the community, listen to them while you film to stay in sync, and create your own version. This is how Bolingo trends are born.

MESSAGES AND CALLS
Text your friends, call them, and find all your conversations in one place. To preserve everyone's privacy, communication with someone who isn't yet your friend is limited until they accept your request.

GROWTH
Gain visibility as you grow and make your presence felt in the community.

A SAFE COMMUNITY
Bolingo provides you with the tools you need to keep the app welcoming:

- Report a profile or post in seconds, with 13 specific reasons
- Block anyone you no longer wish to be in contact with
- Limit interactions with people who are not your friends
- Delete your account at any time from the settings, with a 30-day grace period during which you can still cancel

Bolingo has a zero-tolerance policy regarding child safety. Our standards are published at https://www.bolingodiaspora.com/child-safety.html
