Got a spreadsheet in a messenger or email and the app wants you to sign in before you can fix one cell?
XLSX Editor opens, edits and saves xlsx files with no account and no sign-in.
Your files stay on this phone and are never uploaded anywhere.

- Open files straight from other apps
Tap a spreadsheet in your messenger, email or file manager, choose Open with, and pick this app.
Supports .xlsx, .xlsm (macros are preserved) and legacy .xls (saved as a new .xlsx file).

- Only the cells you edit change
When you save, only the edited cells are replaced. Formatting, charts, images, other sheets and conditional formatting stay exactly as in the original, and the saved file opens normally in desktop Excel.

- Formulas recalculate instantly
Common functions such as SUM, AVERAGE, IF, VLOOKUP, COUNTIF, SUMIF, ROUND and TODAY update as soon as you change a value.
While typing a formula, tap a cell to insert its address.
A few functions the app cannot recalculate keep their previous value in grey and are recalculated when the file is opened in desktop Excel.

- Everyday editing
Select ranges (long-press), copy, cut, paste, fill down and right, clear
Bold, italic, text color, fill color, number formats, alignment
Find and replace, sort, filter
Insert and delete rows and columns, add and rename sheets, undo and redo
Pinch to zoom, export to PDF, share the edited file

- Reopen your work
Reopen files from the recent list. For files received from other apps, an unchanged copy is kept inside the app so they can be reopened.
When you overwrite a file, the version before the overwrite is kept so you can restore it.
Up to 20 recent files and 100 MB are kept; removing a file from the list also deletes its kept copies.

- Phones, tablets and foldables
Layouts adapt from small phones to tablets and fold and flip screens.

- Not supported yet
Password-protected files cannot be opened.
Rows and columns cannot be inserted or deleted on sheets used by a pivot table.
Some functions such as INDIRECT are not recalculated in the app.

Ads: a banner is shown at the bottom of the home and editor screens, and a full-screen ad occasionally appears after saving or exporting a PDF. No full-screen ads appear while opening a file, while editing, or when closing a file. If you like, watch one ad to go ad-free for 3 hours. Every feature is free regardless of ads.
