Bedrock Safety

Bedrock Safety is a private, employee-only app built for Bob Miller Masonry Inc. (BMMI), a specialty concrete and masonry subcontractor in Sarasota, Florida. It is not available to the general public. You need an active BMMI employee account to sign in, and sign-in uses a one-time code sent to your company-registered phone number instead of a password.

If you are not a BMMI employee, this app has no use for you. There is no public content, no guest mode, and no way to create an account from outside the company.

WHAT THE APP DOES

For foremen:
- Run the week's toolbox talk with your crew, in English or Spanish side by side, and collect each worker's signature directly on the phone.
- Complete the job hazard analysis (JHA) for the current task.
- Attach photos to a toolbox talk or JHA submission.
- Work offline. Toolbox talks, JHAs, and signatures are captured even without a signal and sync automatically once the phone reconnects, so the app keeps working in basements, deep pours, and other dead zones on a jobsite.

For safety managers and office staff:
- Conduct weekly safety inspections per crew using voice notes that are transcribed and structured into reviewable findings.
- Track findings and corrective actions through to close-out.
- Report incidents and follow them through review.
- Review and manage vehicle and equipment repair requests.

For everyone with an account:
- View your own crew, certifications, and submission history.
- Submit an equipment or vehicle repair request.
- Read company safety policies, training material, and safety data sheets organized by hazard type.

The app is bilingual throughout. Toolbox talk content, forms, and key screens are available in English and Spanish, and the app follows each employee's language preference by default.

WHO THIS APP IS FOR

Bedrock Safety is used by BMMI foremen, safety managers, office staff, project managers, superintendents, and construction managers as part of their job. It is a tool for managing a construction safety program: toolbox talks, job hazard analyses, inspections, corrective actions, incident reports, and equipment/vehicle repair requests. It replaces paper forms and spreadsheets our field and office teams used to track this information.

ACCOUNT ACCESS

Sign-in requires a phone number already on file with BMMI. New accounts are created by BMMI administrators, not through the app. There is no self-registration, no social login, and no way for someone outside the company to obtain access.

DATA AND PRIVACY

The app collects information needed to run a construction safety program: name, phone number, job role and crew assignment, toolbox talk attendance and signatures, inspection findings and photos, voice recordings made during inspections (transcribed to text), certifications, and repair requests. This data is used only to operate BMMI's internal safety program and to meet OSHA recordkeeping requirements. It is not sold, and it is not used for advertising.
