MTAPS

MTaPS is a digital tool specifically developed for Community-Based Distributors (CBDs) who offer
Family Planning services at the community level. This application is designed to provide
comprehensive guidance on how to utilize the MTaPS application effectively.
The MTaPS application is equipped with a wide range of features that are essential for Community-
Based Distributors (CBDs) in providing efficient and effective Family Planning services at the
community level. Some of the key features of the MTaPS application are:
● Client Identification and Registration: This feature enables CBDs to identify and register
clients, capturing their personal details such as age, gender, and contact information.
● Service Provision: The MTaPS application offers CBDs a platform to provide Family Planning
services to their clients. This feature allows them to input data such as the type of service
provided, the date and time of the service.
● Family Planning Method Selection and Counseling: This feature enables CBDs to offer
counseling to clients, providing them with information on the different family planning
methods available, and guiding them on the most suitable option for their needs.
● Tracking of Dispensing and Unmet Need Instances: The MTaPS application allows CBDs to
track the dispensing of family planning commodities to clients and also identify instances
where clients have unmet needs.
● Scheduling of Follow-ups: CBDs can schedule follow-up appointments with their clients using
