The app defaults a tip for a dollar. If people don't feel like tipping, this gets really uncomfortable as the barista will know that you actively changed it. Besides, why would I tip before receiving service.

This app routinely fails to work for me. It's failed in the same ways with the Pixel 8 and with my previous iPhone 7 pro. Once I have a cart and try to check out, only then does it start to stall indefinitely and finally inform me that mobile orders are unavailable at whichever location I'm targeting. I have spent like 2-10 minutes a day trying in vein to get it to work and often left for work without coffee.
