RF Wi-Fi Mapper: Heatmap Android

RF Wi-Fi Mapper: Heatmap

WiFi & mobile survey on a floor plan: heatmap, coverage %, dead zones, PDF.

Overview

Features & Capabilities

RF Wi-Fi Mapper turns your phone into an indoor signal survey tool. Load a floor plan, walk the
building, and tap to record real Wi-Fi and mobile (LTE/5G) signal readings exactly where you stand —
then hand clients a clean PDF coverage report.

Readings come from the phone's actual Wi-Fi and telephony hardware — nothing is simulated.

HOW IT WORKS
• Add a floor plan from your camera or gallery.
• Pan and zoom so the fixed centre crosshair sits over your real position, then tap "Place point".
• Coordinates are stored as fractions of the image, so pins stay put at any zoom.
• Survey Wi-Fi or mobile coverage — pick the layer when you start a session, so each survey and each
comparison stays like-for-like.

SEE COVERAGE AT A GLANCE
• A smooth heatmap (interpolated from your points) shows strong and dead zones on the plan.
• One clear colour scale everywhere: green = excellent, red = dead.
• On-screen heatmaps are free.

BEFORE / AFTER, DONE RIGHT
• Keep several measurement sessions per plan (e.g. before and after installing an access point).
• Automatic session comparison shows how coverage changed — no dropdowns to fiddle with.
• Dimmed "ghost" reference points help you re-measure the same spots between rounds.
• Mark access points on the plan and record their band.
• Each session records the capture device, and the report warns if a comparison mixes devices —
because Wi-Fi RSSI isn't calibrated across phones.

DETAILED PDF REPORTS (PRO)
• Set the bar — a signal threshold and the share of the area that must reach it — and every plan is
answered against it: PASS or FAIL, plan by plan.
• Executive summary, coverage metrics, survey confidence, session comparison and per-location deltas.
• Problem areas marked on the plan, findings and what to do next — or a plain statement that the
data cannot support a recommendation yet.
• Heatmap and point maps per floor and layer, plus a plain-language guide to reading them.
• A built-in sample report is free, so you can see the output before you buy.

PRIVATE AND OFFLINE
• Everything is stored on your device. No account, no sign-in, no ads.
• Location and phone-state permissions are used only to read Wi-Fi/cell signal while measuring;
camera is only for capturing a floor plan. Nothing is shared with third parties.

FREE vs PRO
• Free: one project with one plan and two surveys, on-screen heatmaps, and the sample report.
• Pro: unlimited projects, plans and surveys; the previous-survey overlay while you walk; and PDF
reports of your own sites.
• Two ways to get it: a 24-hour pass, or a one-time lifetime unlock. The pass ends by itself and
never auto-renews. What it paid for stays yours afterwards: those projects still open, and their
PDF report can still be generated — adding new plans, surveys or measurements needs Pro again.

Built for anyone who needs to know where the signal is — a flat, an office, a warehouse — and
detailed enough for the network engineers, installers, ISPs and integrators who bill for the survey.
