Blockd - NFC & QR app blocking

blockd helps you take back your focus and improve you digital wellbeing/digital health.

Choose the apps that pull you in, start a session, and blockd covers them with a full-screen lock. To unlock, you scan your own NFC tag or QR key — so if you put that tag somewhere out of reach, you can't cave on impulse. The friction is the point.

PRIVACY FIRST
blockd collects nothing and sends nothing off your device. Your blocked-app list, your keys, and your settings stay on your phone. No analytics, no ads, no servers. The camera is used only while scanning your QR key, and the app only checks which app is in the foreground to know when to show the lock screen — it never reads your screen content.

By default blockd works without the Accessibility service. You can optionally turn it on for faster, more reliable blocking — entirely your choice.
