Chroma Codex is a minimalist color matching puzzle game with retro worn texture visuals and deep purple dark background. Your core goal is to replicate the 3×3 color template displayed at the top of each level by dragging red and orange color orbs onto blank grid tiles.

### Core Puzzle Rules
Every level opens with a fixed reference color square at the top, showing the exact red/orange tile layout you need to recreate. Below sits an empty 3×3 grid with faded cracked base tiles and blank white slots. Drag circular red and orange orbs from the side and bottom of the screen onto grid positions to fill every empty cell. When your bottom grid fully matches the top color template, the screen pops up "COMPLETE!" and unlocks the "NEXT" button to advance to the following stage.

The main menu screen is the Codex archive page, featuring a 6-row × 5-column grid of locked padlock icons. Each lock represents an unreleased color puzzle level. Players unlock locks one by one as they finish matching stages in order. Bottom navigation buttons include a menu list icon, previous page arrow, and next page arrow to browse all puzzle chapters.

### In-Game Functional UI
1. Top Bar: Level number label, speaker sound toggle, circular reset button to clear all placed color orbs and restart the current puzzle.
2. Bottom Banner: Optional ad prompt banner; watch short ads to unlock extra hints or skip difficult levels.
3. Completion Popup: Vintage textured "COMPLETE!" text, a worn-stamp "NEXT" button to jump to the subsequent puzzle level.

### Difficulty Progression
Early levels feature simple symmetric red-orange layouts with only a few blank slots to fill. As the level number rises, templates grow more complex: scattered single accent tiles, asymmetric color distributions, and more empty white slots that demand precise orb placement. There is no hard level cap, with dozens of locked puzzle stages waiting to be unlocked in the Codex library.
